🌸 Diwali Puja Vidhi Setp-by-step:

Preparation

• Clean the house & mandir space.
• Decorate with rangoli & place Lakshmi Feet Stickers at the entrance (from kit).
• Spread red cloth (laal kapda) on the chowki and place Lakshmi–Ganesh photo from the kit.

🌿 Step 1: Kalash Sthapana

Items: Copper Kalash, Gangajal, rice (akshat), roli, coin, mauli.

1. Fill Kalash with water + Gangajal.
2. Add a few grains of rice (akshat), a pinch of roli, and one coin.
3. Tie mauli around the neck of the Kalash.
4. Place it on the chowki near Lakshmi–Ganesh photo.

Mantra (simple):
Om shuddhi karaya namah
👉 Meaning: May this act purify our home and hearts.

📖 Why: Kalash is the seat of divinity, symbolizing creation, abundance, and shakti.

🙏 Step 2: Ganesh Pooja

Items: Roli, akshat, kheel, batashe, diya.

1. Apply roli + akshat tika to Ganesh ji.
2. Offer kheel & batashe (from kit).
3. Light a diya in front of Ganesh ji.

Mantra:
Om Gan Ganapataye Namah
👉 Meaning: O Ganesh ji, remover of obstacles, bless this pooja.

📖 Why: Ganesh ji is always worshipped first to remove obstacles and bless beginnings.

🌸 Step 3: Lakshmi Pooja

Items: Kamal gatta, 7 annaj, 5 small diyas, 1 akhand diya, roli, akshat.

1. Place kamal gatta (from kit) at Maa Lakshmi’s feet.
2. Offer 7 annaj: wheat, rice, chana, jau, til, moong, kangani.
3. Apply roli + akshat tika to Lakshmi ji.
4. Light 5 diyas around the mandir and 1 akhand diya (to glow through the night).

Mantra:
Om Shreem Mahalakshmyai Namah
👉 Meaning: O Maa Lakshmi, bless us with wealth, prosperity, and abundance.

📖 Why: Annaj symbolizes nourishment & wealth, diyas represent divine light and grace.

💰 Step 4: Kubera & Kaudi Pooja

Items: 11 kaudi, panchmeva, coin.

1. Place 11 kaudi near Lakshmi ji’s feet.
2. Offer panchmeva and a coin.

Mantra:
Om Yakshaya Kuberaya Namah
👉 Meaning: O Lord Kubera, guardian of wealth, protect and multiply our prosperity.

📖 Why: Kaudi is a symbol of Lakshmi ji, attracting wealth and guarding against nazar.

📚 Step 5: Bahi-Khata Pooja

Items: Roli, akshat.

1. Place your account books, money, or ornaments in front of Lakshmi ji.
2. Apply roli tika and akshat to them.

📖 Why: To seek blessings on wealth, business, and prosperity.

✨ Step 6: Family Teeka & Mauli

Items: Roli, akshat, mauli.

1. After deity worship, apply roli + akshat tika to all family members.
2. Tie mauli on everyone’s wrist (right wrist for men, left for women).

📖 Why: This symbolizes blessings, unity, and protection for the whole family. It binds everyone together in the spirit of Diwali.

🔥 Step 7: Aarti

Items: Printed Aarti (from kit), diya, camphor.

1. Light camphor in the diya.
2. Sing Lakshmi Aarti & Ganesh Aarti (printed copy provided in kit).
3. Rotate the aarti thali before deities.

📖 Why: Aarti completes the pooja, spreads divine vibrations, and invites blessings.

🌸 Step 8: Prasad & Daan

Items: Kheel-batashe, sweets.

1. Offer prasad to all family members.
2. Share with neighbors and donate food/money to the needy.

📖 Why: Giving and sharing is the essence of Diwali; blessings multiply when distributed.

🌙 Step 9: Akhand Diya

Keep the akhand diya glowing overnight.

📖 Why: Symbol of Maa Lakshmi’s permanent presence in the home.

“Is vidhi ke saath aapki Diwali pooja poorn ho jaati hai.
Yaad rakhiye, Diwali ka asli saar sirf dhan aur samriddhi paana nahi, balki safai, samarpan aur kṛitagyata (कृतज्ञता) hai.

Jo roshni aap apne ghar mein jagate hain, wahi roshni aapke mann mein bhi jagni chahiye.
