Kamika Ekadashi Vrat Vidhi (How to Observe)
- Wake before sunrise, bathe, and take the sankalp (vow) to observe the vrat.
- Worship Bhagwan Vishnu with tulsi leaves, flowers, incense, and a ghee lamp.
- Fast from grains and beans; devotees may keep a nirjala (waterless) or phalahar (fruit) fast as per their capacity.
- Spend the day chanting Vishnu’s names, reading the Kamika Ekadashi katha, and keeping a night vigil (jagran).
- Break the fast during the Parana time the next morning after offering food to a Brahmin or the needy.
